The main challenge of this project was to increase campus awareness and student registration in the five performing arts ensembles at the Colleges of the Fenway, a consortium of neighboring Boston area academic institutions. Deliverables included a poster for each ensemble, email and web graphics, as well as an overview poster highlighting the different programs.

To help the posters stand out among the clutter on bulletin boards and event kiosks, full bleed-saturated colors were used along with contrasting color treatments for the ensemble names. Graphical patterns were utilized to bring alive the different qualities of the performance types. Abstract photographic images add dimensionality to the compositions and create a unifying structural element to the series. As a result of this effort, target student registration numbers were achieved for the ensembles and attendance increased sharply at the performances.
